The Expendables 2

Although it was a tiny clip Chuck Norris Certainly didnt look past it in that film... People said the same about stallone before Rambo and he was superb in it.. Age is just a number.. :D
 
Chuck Norris has reportedly insisted that The Expendables 2 receive a PG-13 rating.

The original Expendables was rated R, and the sequel was on track to secure the same rating, thanks to the profane language. However, Norris refused to join the film unless it was classified as PG-13.

"In Expendables 2 there was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay," Norris told the Polish newspaper Gazeta.

"For this reason, many young people wouldn't be able to watch this," he continued. "But I don't play in movies like this.

"Due to that I said I won't be a part of that if the hardcore language is not erased. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be classified in the category of PG-13."

Loved the first one this can only be better!

It's not great acting, its not great plotting but its ******** fun! :D

Not sured if it has been mentioned earlier in the thread (as I can't be bothered to read all the way through :p) but MIckey Rourke has pulled out :(
 
Just watch the first one on blu-ray for the first time.

Statham was my fav. Li was epic & short :D

I'd prefer if Norris was just removed and we could have a film that wasn't cut for children.
I've never understood his legendary internet status.

The whole point in an over the top action movie is bad language, poor accents, comedy one liners and far fetched violence.

I want to see Norris in it but if it becomes some DIsney kid fest I would rather not bother, its a stupid OTT action film and I expect it to act like one!
 
Yep, Kurt Russell for sure and definitely Steven Seagal, if he already isn't.

Would also like to see Tom Cruise. I bet he probably thinks he's above these types of movies, but the fact is, he will always be remembered for his cheesy 80's movies. Maybe an "ex-spy who's lost he's marbles" type of character. Would certainly be interesting!
 
Sylvester Stallone has opened up about the decision to classify The Expendables 2 as PG-13.

The veteran action star told Ain't It Cool News that the sequel "delivers on every level" despite having its script toned down.

"The film is fantastic with Van Damme turning in an inspired performance... Our final battle is one for the ages. The PG-13 rumour is true, but before your readers pass judgement, trust me when I say this film is LARGE in every way and delivers on every level," he told the website.

"This movie touches on many emotions which we want to share with the broadest audience possible, BUT, fear not, this Barbeque of Grand scale Ass Bashing will not leave anyone hungry."

Expendables 2 was classified as PG-13 earlier this week at the request of Chuck Norris, who condemned the use of profanity in its screenplay and threatened to exit the project unless it was removed.

Well your pretty much guaranteed its going to be utter tripe now. There will be no masses of blood or brutal deaths that made the first one so damn good. no swearing. I hope this flops badly thanks to norris the utter muppet.
 
I've always thought Norris was a massive bender. I wish Bruce was still around to show him the back of his hand.
