The F.A. Cup Final 2006 Thread Liverpool vs West Ham *SPOILERS*

I smell an upset, I really do. I think West Ham are going to do it, they are going to bloody do it!

2-0 to Liverpool then.. :o
 
Come on you Hammers! :D

The reason I want the Hammers to win is because I litterally live around 15 mins from Upton Park, and they're more local than Liverpool!

Hammers all the way tbh :)
 
I've got a feeling West Ham might surprise us. This is their biggest game for years they will be playing out of their skin. I reckon They will go ahead and then defend like their lives depend on it. But difference in quality tells and we equalise, then the Hammers fall apart and we get another couple.
Prediction = 3-1 liverpool
 
Liverpool will steamroller West Ham in much the same way as United did to Wigan in the Carling Cup final.

Apart from their woefull strike force Liverpool are vastly superior in all other positions.

I've got a feeling in my bones that there will be a slight shock this year. Marlon Harewood could be West Ham's ace in the pack.

West Ham to win 2-1 with both goals from Harewood. Gerrard scoring Liverpools.
 
Haven't Liverpool won enough? I prey to God that West Ham win. They deserve it MUCH more than the reds tbh.

Having said that, I'd put money on a Liverpool win. I just hope the hammers pull something out of the hat.

Why do they deserve it more? Just because they're the underdogs?

Liverpool have beaten Man United and Chelsea in the last two rounds to get to the final, id say they deserve it as much as the next team.

Liverpool will win it and think "oh well another trophy" where as West Ham will actually appreciate it. It'd just be nice if one of the smaller teams won something for once.

Not gonna happen, this is not just another trophey, this is the FA Cup, it will mean the same to us this time around than the first, second e.t.c

Common the lads.

I doubt this will make any difference to Liverpool's impressive achievements in the last few years tbh. They won the CL last year which is about as good as it gets.
 
If we get an early goal i think it will make things easy for us. West ham need to attack in a measured way. If they come at us haphazard then we will take them apart. Like i said before i think West Ham will put up a fight and maybe score before we come into the game and eventually take it.
