The FA CUP Fifth Round - 16/17/18/27 February *** Spoilers ***

Terrible ref throughout, Cahill did a lunging on studs in challenge catching Douglas up the shin, on his planted leg, very lucky not to be a break, but because of a completely non existant foul on Mata he gets away with it.

Constant terrible freekick decisions, that included, Moses in the corner kicked the ball between a couple defenders, sat on the ground, foul given, Ashley cole, zero contact, held his arm, foul given. Chelsea should have been down to 10 for much of the first half, 1-0 down but for a terrible ref decision, and Luiz should have been sent off as well.

AS it was, Brentford utterly collapsed after 1-0, lost all composure, kept running out from defence to win the ball rather than defend as a team, Dean/Keeper on the line mix up was painfully easy to stop that goal going in but was symptomatic of the way in which everyone was panicking when they went behind. Horrendous ref, great first half for Brentford that should have seen them 1-0 up with the extra man in the second half.

Unfortunately we won't ever have a clue what would have happened in the second half if the ref hadn't so monumentally screwed Brentford in the first half.

Luiz is just a complete **** for doing that, 4-0, Brentford goal disallowed, Cahill getting away with horrendous tackle, and he still feels the need to knock someone out for no reason then has the cheek to still complain about a couple soft tackles by Brentford after doing that.

I suspect it will be our worst season under him, just because Bayern are going to thrash us, and finishing 4th seems less achievable than ever. Alas poor Arsenal, we knew ye well. :(

Yep true, all Wenger is concerned with now is getting 4th at the very least but the way Spurs are playing, i cant see them dropping many points and knowing just how bad we play...inevitably we will drop more points before the end of the season.

On one hand i want us to get 4th but then on another id rather us miss out on CL next year if it makes the Arsenal board and Wenger re-look at things and make some massive changes, which wont happen as we all know. but we can only pray lol

Last yr we had RVP who saved our season and got us 3rd...this season we havent got him and we are now suffering for it.

This season could very well be the start of our demise ie going from a top 4 side to a mid table side if Wenger and Arsenal dont start investing heavily in some good quality players and getting rid of Wenger as well.

As for Bayern?? im looking forward to us getting our back doors smashed in...if anything it will make for some hilarity come Tues night. Who knows a huge miracle might happen and we do a Chelsea on them over the 2 legs:p...highly doubtful but one can dream:cool:

what the heck were those itv highlights about? i couldn't see what was going on! worst highlight and editing i've ever seen. keep it simple you plums.
