The FA CUP Fifth Round ** Spoilers ** [16th - 19th February 2018] + Replays

Ref is a clown, why get the yellow out then bottle it.

But then this is a guy who gives a foul when Sane's foot is knee high cleanly taking the ball, Wigan player virtually diving heading it and he calls a foul for a high foot.

The refs allowed to change his mind. Its irrelevant anyway, thats absolute filth from Delph and its a clear red.
What reason did he have to change his mind and why did he though? He clearly took his yellow out and was going to book him, Wigan's players surrounded him and he changed his mind. Doesn't set a great precedent and he's going to get pressurised constantly as a result both in the second half and games moving forwards.

As for the tackle, it wasn't filth. It's probably a red but it wasn't malicious and his body weight was grounded so wasn't overly dangerous either.

Watched it 3 or 4 times and each time I change my mind, to be honest I don't mind him giving red there but he clearly gets the yellow out and starts writing on the card, Wigan surround him and all of a sudden it's changed to red.

I think though City are stronger without Delph on the field as I'm not sure what he brings to the table.
