The FA CUP Fifth Round ** Spoilers ** [16th - 19th February 2018] + Replays

I know there's loads of calls for getting rid of FA Cup replays but this is a huge result for Rochdale and why I'd be against it. Not only for the club, Rochdale will be earning huge money from the replay, but it'll be the biggest game in everyone of their players careers.

He made the most of it, but personally I think it was a penalty. As a defender you can't step across someone with an outstretched leg without making contact with the ball, it was a tired challenge from the Rochdale defender.

Rochdale easily deserved the draw probably a win in all honesty. To say it wasn't a pen is just stupid, he made the most of it but who which player doesn't now? The refs made a rod for their own back by not giving them if they don't go down.

Its not stupid at all. Alli drags his right foot and is tumbling before contact is mate.

Probably a penalty but players should be booked and the foul given against them for making a meal out of tackles like Alli did and does on a regular basis. Threw his outside leg in the air like the guy had wiped him out. I have no idea why its ok to do that as long as there was even the slightest contact but its a yellow if there wasn't any.

Its a fine line judging how much effort you put into earning a penalty given the speed of the game. Too much it looks bad and you could get a card, too little and you might not earn your penalty. Maybe some coaching is needed in proper diving technique.
