Surely taking off Fellaini is a ridiculous idea? Especially since the game plan is to play long balls to him all day.

One thing that confused me about De Gea tonight was that he rushed out for Monreal's goal when he stayed on his line against Stirling in a very similar position a little while ago and was praised for doing so. Granted Stirling's shot was a lot worse than Monreal's.

Sterling was at a tighter angle, he could afford to just cover his near post. If he stayed on his line it would have been a much easier finish for Monreal.

Depends what else is going on around you, coming off your line can take you out of the play if the attacker can play a square pass to someone else. One on one, you should be closing him down otherwise.

Stirling and Monreal are practically in the exact same position (if anything Stirling is from a less tight angle) and there's more opportunity to square it for Monreal. De Gea looks the same in both too except against Liverpool he stood his ground and against Arsenal he rushed out.

Great game and about freaking time we broke our hoodoo at OT. Thoroughly enjoyed us beating Utd for a change. Dat guy Welbz with the winning goal was epically good, his celebration even better.

Off to Wembley we go \o/.

I'll just end it off with saying, all dat diving from utd :eek:

...first Young then rat face Di Maria, who gets himself sent off and then the icing...Januzaj lolololol. Hopefully this will shut that ginger **** Scholes up for saying Özil is a flop and that we won't beat utd at OT, should really be looking at rat face, monumental flop along with Falcao lol.

Come now, you were absolutely gifted your second goal and the first one wasn't exactly hard when Monreal was left in 5 yards of space 5 yards from goal. We didn't play well and Arsenal could easily have drawn the game. If I was an Arsenal fan that performance wouldn't have filled me with any confidence going forwards.

The result is understandable but the way Man.U. play isn't really, they're just full of mistakes, mishaps, missed passes & misery. They simply don't know how to play together which shouldn't be happening this late in the season.
If they don't get top 4 it will be one of the biggest failures ever after what they spent considering they're not going to win anything now either.
Mind you the same could be said of Liverpool, if they don't get top 4 that will be a massive failure too as you should be winning or at least challenging for the league if you spend £100m+ remember Brendan and fans?
Either way it looks like one of them will miss out so it's win/win :cool:

Very true

But what we did last year was easy and a certain team would be repeating that this year with the greatest of ease apparently
