This is bonkers, they should scrap VAR. So VAR was used for the Willian incident but didn't overturn it and now we've got Morata appealing with the TV gesture! :D

edit: so the argument was that the Willian decision wasn't a clear an obvious error. Hypothetically, if Willian had already been booked he'd have been sent off there. So they'll use VAR, see that the decision was wrong, if not a complete howler and Chelsea would not only not get the pen they should have but the attacker could still be sent off. Yea, I can't see this causing any controversy.

Morata is such a terrible diver, he constantly throws himself to the ground, like all game long every game. He didn't see to do this at Real that I remember, during his last period with Real they were so dominant though and he was scoring freely so maybe he didn't feel the need. Maybe as his form has gone and Chelsea have struggled scoring he's felt like diving is a good option so does it so much more?
