Then don't buy skinny jeans? All of those shops listed sell slim, straight leg, relaxed or bootcut as well as skinny.

Fair point. I just shudder when I see such things and I reach for the close button.

Zara looks like the jobby though, thanks! :)

Tommy H stuff is right up my street too!

Looking for some smart shirts but with cuff-links rather than buttons that dont cost the earth, slim fit a must.

Any one got any ideas?

Been doing some staff moves at work and seem to have ruined my shoes and trousers but thats easy to replace :)

I need to update all my hoodies to something smarter. What kind of jumpers and sweatshirts are in at the moment? For jumpers it looks like wool and for sweatshirts it looks like American printed styles?

Free next day delivery, free returns, loads of discount most of the time, if you buy from them a lot its really worth the £10 or whatever it was a year.

Ah I want these oh so very much but I really don't know what to wear with them :(

My friend works at Dr Martens so I can get a 65% discount, putting them at £47.

Good God... I don't think anything exists that would go with them... horrendous design. :p

P.S. Please put large pics in quote tags so people don't go quoting them everywhere.

Haha, I like them because they are different...& I love DMs :D The only thing I don't like about them is the size of the sole, DM's always have chunky soles which are fine with boots but just look over sized on 'normal' sized shoes.

Also, I changed to small pictures.....just for you ;)

Either bleached/acid wash skinny jeans/black jeans/dark jeans (any jean! :p) with turn-ups. The socks will also be a key piece as they will be on show...so this will depend on the rest of your outfit.

If you had a dark red flannel shirt for instance and acid jeans, white socks would be good.

Socks can obviously vary but that's just my advice and what i have seen people around work wearing.

As for tops, something plain and not too bold...a shirt ideally.

I never really liked white socks, maybe for sport but never with loafers or dessies just reminds me of some of those awful mods from the 80s.

Oh, and turn ups on skinny jeans never look good, only ever looks natural on wide leg denim.

"never look good".

:/

And if you hate "those awful mods", you're going for the wrong type of image/shoe.

Is this ... is this a joke?

Let's be honest, the vast majority of people here wouldn't pay £100 for a pair of jeans nor roll their jeans up. It is a computer hardware forum. :p

But no, it isn't a joke.

People on here, in general, don't overly care about what they wear. I wouldn't be seen dead in a shirt with a logo on it nor a pair of bootcut jeans but that is my preference. :)

White socks???

I think someone's fallen out of the fashion tree and bumped their head!

It would be one way to wear them, yes.

Admittedly these are sockless due to the seasons and where those users are posting from but you get the idea.

I also purposefully chose outfits that aren't weird/odd/daring...all of the ones above are perfectly high street-esque.
