The Fashion Thread... personal tastes, musings, and recommendations

I just bought this, http://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/inde...code/15160256/id_colour/110/group/122/level/3

ok quality.

what do you think about light black jeans ? is that not in fashion. I bought some cheapo jeans from M&S for £20 and they are light black, i thought they were ok but then after a few days i took another look at them and now i think they look kind of stupid.

I found them on the website: http://www.marksandspencer.com/Blue...&pf_rd_i=0&pf_rd_p=321381407&pf_rd_s=center-3

what do you think ? lol

Re: the superdry jacket posted above

The garish patch on the arm containing the logo is no-go. I'm not a fan of the belt either. I'd rather go with Barbour for wax jackets.

I prefer to go for timeless items of clothing. You can keep a nice Barbour in your wardrobe for as long you want and won't look out of place wearing it in many situations. Superdry stuff reeks of 14-18 year old attire.

(This is just my opinion. The quality of superdry stuff is pretty good so if you like that stuff go for it)

Those are grey?

Nothing wrong with grey jeans, although the fit of those in that picture doesn't look too great.

Can't you see the thread title?! It says "Richdogs Male Fashion Thread".

Get out!

:( Hmph.

Not so keen on the patch myself either. The belt I quite like though but I agree with your sentiments about the image of the brand. I was just browsing around and thought I'd have a look on the site to see what they had and that jacket was really the only thing I looked at that caught my eye.

I have a Barbour gilet in a deep purple-y colour that I find I wear quite a bit, but I hate my arms being cold so I only tend to wear when I'm out in the garden where it's sheltered a bit more from the elements.

Oooooo I actually kinda like that jacket. :D

Think I need to go try one on. I won't even attempt to get the sizing right online. There's just something about it that I really like and I can't put my finger on what it is.

(if I'm allowed to post in your precious thread lol :p)

I bought these for a wedding next weekend, black tie. They look beautiful. Wine Red Suspenders

That's exactly the reason why you should buy clothing... you will feel awesome in it and that's also what people notice as much as what the clothing looks like.

Hey, it wasn't me who said anything! :p

Caved in and bought the Superdry Polar Windcheater. They are so common here, but will see me through the winter happily. I really like it.

Yeah, they are lovely, it's just the commonality of them that's putting me off... Gf's got one and it does a great job... But think I want something leather myself for Winter...

Guess I should contribute the jeans I just got...

The 511's (commuter) in particular felt incredible in shop. They're all currently being taken up at the moment... Might remember to post actual pics in a few weeks when I get them back.
