I requested yesterday but didn't get anything, got key now. Just had a quick blast, everything is so shiny, the textures etc. Can't assign binds to side mouse buttons either.

I'm crap at it and no idea what I'm doing but its really refreshing compared to what we have been getting over that last years with fps games. It is a bit demanding at 4K though trying to run it at 120fps is a bit hit and miss but I've not gone through the settings properly yet. Is it me or cant we turn off ray tracing ?
since playing a few more rounds I'm still enjoying it but the TTK and respawn times are getting a bit jarring to be honest. It does need some work.

I believe setting Raytracing to 'static' disables it, not sure why it doesn't just say disabled though?

This from Embark studios isn't it? They doing that Arc raiders that looks really cool and similar with enemy AI destruction and such. There some cool videos about how they using AI learning to train their NPC elements in that one.

it is fun but a bit rough round the edges at the moment, yeah its arc raiders that I'm really interested in.

yeah been playing around with that and it does seem to disable it or at least lower it.

played one quick game last night, while its good the mechanics are weird and i ended up in a team with 2 people who quit very quickly.
However i still managed to win the game solo by stealing the final cache at the last moment. making everything before that last 60 secs pointless.
I think its gonna be the sort of game where you have to play with friends or its going to be really annoying.
The Seoul map makes it really hard to grab the cashout boxes as they are moving on platforms.
After playing COD and BF2042 the TTK is a little longer than expected and the respawn times after a team wipe (was only me after first 2-3 mins) are brutal.

Had quick play last night. Played solo so was with randoms. After 2 matches I didn't really have the urge to play any more. Probably better with friends.

Played it briefly last night and didn't enjoy it at all. Strange, as I really enjoyed the last beta test.
Movement feels off and didn't like the map. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
