US: The Flash (2014)

I thought that too! :D

The writers are knocking it out of the park this week. Just watched ncis and person of interest and they are all great, really finishing the seasons off on a climax!

When the hell are they going to get doors with locks at Starlabs? :D How are people just rolling in unannounced?

Haha I said the same thing when Iris strolled in.

Not sure I really appreciate the whole Grodd thing, superhumans is one thing but a giant, psychic and telepathic gorilla seems one too far lol.

LOL I would have thought it was more believable that one of the closest relations to humans could talk/have telepathic powers/Be huge and brutal than someone that can go at a super speed or a man that is on fire.. ;)

I know...I didn't say I was being logical :P

You generally can't stroll into someone's house so why would the lazy writers think you could do so in a highly secure lab?

It's too late to change now...Joe, team arrow etc have been strolling in unannounced all season, so at least they are consistent!

It's a bit like how people just seemed to stroll in and out of the office at Lex's mansion in Smallville and this guy's a paranoid billionaire with an armed security team at his house.
Crap writing, but whatever :)

A mind controlling gorilla, a man who may one day run so fast he will be everywhere at once, lots of meta humans and the main villain is a super fast human from the future. We suspend our disbelief for all that but we get slightly annoyed when people just walk into supposedly secure facilities. I'm with you lot it was silly but if you think about it it's more likely to happen than the rest of the stuff :D

That's because we understand what a secure facility is and how it works ie, it's secure. With superheroic magic powers, we have no experience of that and are willing to suspend disbelief and accept the rules that the writers set.

Man runs so fast he travels back in time? Sure, why not? Open door policy at high-tech lab/prison because genius level scientists don't know how to work the door? Not so much.

My basic rule for any show is "are the characters more stupid than I am and doing dumb things?" If so, suspension of disbelief fails.

Exactly.
Then again, maybe they just leave the door open so Barry can run in and grab his outfit? :D

Did they ever explain how that crime alert system works or who feeds the prisoners? Seriously, these guys are being plonked in isolation with no daylight, no toilet, no exercise. What's the plan here?

Certainly no human rights there, though maybe being meta-human makes that rule redundant. I'm guessing Wells will pop in and unleash them all to attack/distract Barry at some point before the end.

Good episode, I was surprised how well it was acted, when they try to do this thing on TV it usually feels flat and forced.

Hmm Iris has not triggered off my annoying wimen sensors yet :)

Felicity and laurel did asap on arrow

Usually they get a pass when they are given appropriate dress wear to stop men from complaining or talking.

Anyhow nice to see Grodd pop up although they have changed his character from the dc universe greatly, although am sure he could form or create gorilla city, I doubt they can just have him swing and jump off roof tops in central city all day long lol
