yeah they can pretty much get away with anything with the whole Multiverse (DC use to call it Elseworld) explanation. Still everyone will be expecting Superman to pop up somewhere sometime.

I don't know how Ezra has managed to keep the role considering he's been a bad boy over the last few years, assault, burglary, mental health and paranoid delusions etc etc.

WB probably don't have enough cash to do reshoots for the role.

The media tour the cast will go through should be interesting around Ezra Miller. Will his studio PR "handlers" be deflecting all questions about his multiple violent transgressions around women before the press are allowed to interview him or will the press be allowed to ask searching questions freely I wonder?

My guess would be that there will be an "I've had therapy, I've learned to be better" type mea culpa session before the press tour followed by the Studio trying to deflect everything for him but I very much doubt an apologies would be genuine and would just be for PR spin.

Fling some money at the rest of the cast to do it and state no questions about Ezra's personal life.
