The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

I am on Win 8.1 and as soon as July 28th is here, I will go W10. I will of course be testing both the TX and FX against each other :)

Anyone here have Thief and able to run Mantle with it? I just tried and no joy. Did a file integrity check as well. Runs fine in D3D and SEV3 runs fine in Mantle.

Nice! Interested to see if the reduced driver overhead some are claiming will make a significant difference. Apparently the difference between W7 and W10 should be very noticeable.

Greg, when you get a chance show some frametime data for Shadow of Mordor with the high resolution texture pack at 1440p

Will do.

Both the TX and FX will be with me till 14/16nm, so plenty of testing time for W10.

Full review will be done Friday/possibly Saturday chaps and chapesses :)

Stock is a tad annoying, Would have been better if they waited an extra month to launch it so stock would have been more plentiful.

Now with no stock anywhere more and more people are going Nvidia, AMD kind of shot themselves in the foot because they couldn't wait 4 extra weeks for more stock to distribute.

I know so many people that looked at AMD's non existent stock and said "Oh well, Might aswell go 980 Ti" :p

It's not exactly a bad option ;) :D

Frames were all over the place but the game played fine at 1080P. No problems for me in any game as yet and today I start the methodical testing.

Yep, I was just pointing an issue if people are wondering why nvidia is getting so much better fps in lower resolutions. Card simply isn't running at it's full capacity (and note that was demo, which isn't ever as cpu sensitive as real gameplay).

Because I was bored and am sick to death of the quality on the iPhone, just took some more. Despite the pump saga, the shroud is a thing of beauty size and all

Must admit I'm a fan of the new look. I was a little worried they'd stick to their previous attempt which was lacking in appeal.

I do think there is still room to make it look properly slick but it's got me interested in upgrading soon :D

I expect your CPU is doing a great job here also plus AMDs added lower draw calls. Although am not sure this been added to the Fury X driver..

Either way nicely done but I do agree with Humbug a side by side will be much easy to read the data.

They improved the DX11 Driver overheads with that Game. like they do a lot of games, where they can :)

It will all be done and no problems putting them side by side but sadly I have no time at the mo and need to do a shift at work (2-10) but will be on it tonight. I have done some decent testing through most of last night and early today, so getting to grips with the card. Did some overclocking on the core and seemed to cope well at 1128mhz.

Really looking forward to doing a review of this card :)
