So my 2 sapphire fury x's have shipped from overclockers today, although I'm still uncertain whether I would prefer 2 x 980 ti's, is any one else in the same position? (Moved from nvidia to Amd) and what the change in experince is like?
I often switch back and forth between the 2 (currently have AMD in most of my machines but do have Nvidia in one).
I doubt you'll notice any issues really. DDU or something may be an idea to completely remove the old drivers is probably my only advice.
Personally I've probably had a few more minor issues with AMD drivers but not as many as you might think given the reputation of AMD drivers. Certainly not enough to stop me buying AMD hardware.
I can't speak for the FuryX cards specifically because OcUK won't send me the ones I've paid for, but in general I doubt you'll notice much difference once you've gotten used to CC instead of the Nvidia Control Panel.
If you use ShadowPlay (I don't) I understand you may be a little disappointed by AMD's Gaming Evolved/Raptr application (but I've barely used that either).
If you tend to use your Graphics cards to encode video you may find Nvidia's codec is supported by a few more things than AMD's at present.
