The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

I think it's more like half of them. :p

mmj_uk no offence bud, but can you take comments like these and **** off from the Owners thread please.

It's the "OWNERS THREAD", starting to get ticked off trying to filter my way through the pile of crap posted by people that don't own the card, or just come here to slate AMD.

Hating a card is fine, but make a new thread for it, this thread isn't the place.

muziqaz problem is ... No other benchmarks got Stereo 3D benching option... Or im wrong ??
Does anyone know any other benchmarks than Unigine that offer stereoscopic benchmarking ?? If so give us here very interested to see..
I know Fury X is disappoint but i stil got hope :( I am AMD Fanboi aren't I :(

Just thought I should emphasise to any prospective buyers who might be browsing the thread that the list is misleading and a significant number of those "owners" were not happy with the product they received and returned or sold them.

If the list should happen to get corrected then I won't need to point that out.

Well once they're available I will probably go for another one :)

No idea what's going on tbh. It's very, very odd.

From what AMDJoe said, it is HBM that is the hold up and there just isn't enough of it. I was quite surprised they went ahead with the Fury but maybe that is just as profitable but whatever way you look at it, this isn't good for the people on the waiting list.

Had an e-mail this morning, it arrived back ok. :)

These would be ideal in Xfire, as the temps are no problem, so may get another myself further down the line. :D

I think my PSU should be ok for 2x, got a Corsair AX860w

As these are in such short (or no) supply why are AMD bringing different cards out in such a short window that use the same gpu? we've been waiting so long for this flagship card and it is the poster boy for hbm so they should have just concentrated on the fury x only and getting as many of them out as possible but the limited supply is being shared between the fury x, fury and soon the nano then the dual card, at this rate it could be Xmas before there's steady flow of stock, I'm trying to hold out to see if the pump problems have been fixed when the next lot finally arrive but I'm getting an itch to get a 980ti instead

The only explanation I can think of is that the board partners were pressuring AMD to give them fury non-x chips to sell. It makes no sense for them to sell the cheaper product at the expense of availablity of the flagship, so much for 'wanting to look like a premium option'

+1million

And take DP and the rest of the NV trolls with you.

I think the only reason the Furys are not shifting is, is because by the time AMD released them, everyone who wanted an X, had already bought a Nvidia, as they couldn't get one.

They should have just released the Fury at the same time, as chances are, those wanting an X, would have just gone for it instead, as they aren't that far off the Xs performance, and are cheaper, but with not doing that, the only option for everyone, was Nvidia. :(

It's just crazy, if i was to go do the same in the 980Ti thread or Titan X i'd get jumped on by mods and devote nvidia fans, but i won't.. the reason is simple.

I'm not a ****.

Would a passing mod please sort this thread out, it impossible trying to filter through the crap trying to find useful information and the thread is constantly getting derailed by people posting utter nonsense.

What happened to the "3 Strike warning" mods, it's a sticky, bloody enforce it!

Agreed. I really wanted to see the Fury X being a success (as well as the Fury/Nano) but AMD seriously cocked up the launch and the patient people have a breaking point and seeing the amount of stock, I am sure it broke for a few.

I did report some of the peoples comments to mods to gain some attention from them towards this thread, but I am yet to see something done. This is getting out of hand. Why would I want to see someone post remarks about how many owners there is and how many of them probably already sold theirs. I didn't sell my two cards, and am looking to get the 3rd one.
AMD done paper launch, no one denying it, tough deal with it and shut up.

If everyone is so eager to bring nvidia to this thread, why not talk in more detail about Win 10 nvidia drivers, eh? How are they working out for all of you?
