The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

What? It's gone from £509.99 to £529.99 now £549.99. How is that down 100? Or are we on about different cards :?

£509 was a promotion price if you ordered it without a guaranteed in-stock/delivery date wasn't it?

I remember the "get it now" price being in the £600s for the Fury X, and OcUK weren't the only retailer raising their prices. I don't blame them, the Fury X had (has?) such little stock, and it was evidently going to be popular.

Just tried to put my card to 1125, it bluescreened the computer, it can only go up to 1100MHZ, this is with the gpu running at 30 degrees

Thats similar to the direction Im going with mine Kaapstaad, but I will only have 2 cards and put more effort into the water loop

I've not bluescreened from overclocking it, I found the point of Artefacting then went back down.. I start getting minor artefacts at 1137 -- 1130 is stable for me. Really need this voltage malarky sorted -.-

It was £650 at launch due to price gauging and that's when most people bought them, now that they're at their real price £100 cheaper nobody is even buying them.

I know the ASUS one launched at like £599.99 (and still is..) but I've not seen 650 anywhere O.o I can definitely confirm the XFX has followed the price scheme you quoted me at. I bought one at 509 then bought a second at 529, they're currently sitting at 549.

50Mhz is a pretty ****-poor overclock man!!

No ****. See how far most components will overclock without any voltage adjustments. I know I had to adjust my CPU voltage, and my GPU voltage on the 7970s, 6950, and on the 580, and on every single GPU I've previously owned going all the way back to... probably 8800GTS G92 was my first overclock? Hard to recall, but I dare say I needed to tweak voltage there too.

He is talking about every maxwell clocking to 1400mhz with ease
As I said, ignore him. People seem to forget the differences in architectures. Do we remember pentiums with their clocks? one arch is tuned to reach higher clocks, others are not.
