The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Only issue is that *any* whine whatsoever will absolutely kill any projected s/hand value for them (it'll be the first question people will ask) :(

Mine is like that, much louder when booting up but after that its not bad. I have my PC about two feet from me so its more noticeably than it would be if the PC was under my desk. Don't think I will ever try and sell the card when i upgrade as it would be a nightmare.
 
Well, fitted mine today (after wrestling with my 900D, that's the last time you get me Corsair! Probably).
While I've not had too much time to really push them, the little bit of playing I have done didn't have any obvious signs of whine (yet).
The cards and fans were actually quieter than I had expected them to be with the Gentle Typhoons on, although they've not really been pushed for any length of time to build up an heat.

Not a big fan of the 900D case and will be giving mine away to one of my mates at work.

From now on I will be roughing it with my Little Devil cases, I have got 3 of them.

I was always tempted by them, but I like the little touch the mass produced cases have, such as front-panel USB/audio connectors, SSD mounting, dust filters and a few other bits and pieces.

At one point today I considered getting a Phanteks Enthoo Primo, but I don't think I could bring myself to do it. For a start I hate cases with doors on the front, but also dislike the internal layout and the external look.

Doesn't leave me with much!

900D should've been so much better than it was, just a number of little things that add up, make it a disappointment. They got me with the 540 AIR too!

I got my Fury X a few weeks back, it had terrible pump whine, so i had to speed up my WC project, ofc the warranty lost but who cares :)
