The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

quick update again thanks to 0.95 rail mod and ln2 was able to achieve http://hwbot.org/submission/2995735_ 32411-Fire strike and http://hwbot.org/submission/2991598_ 73545- sky diver new 2 card WR
under normal circumstances without mods once afterburner or similar releases a official volt control i believe 1170-1200 and 550~580 should be achievable on almost all fury x but will need custom water loops. the core on fury is cool even with volts the vregs however need close attention when blocking and monitoring under use. volt control is already out there for those who dare to flash bios :)

nice :D

It is yet another clueless 4 way review so don't worry too much about it.

How many people even if they do use 4 way setups would use 3 x 4k monitors anyway. AMDMatt and myself only use single 2160p monitors.

When these people do their review with the GTX 980 Ti cards at the 11520x2160p resolution the results won't be much better than the Fury X ones as 6gb is nowhere near enough for the resolution.

The TitanXs should go ok at the resolution if Tweaktown ever get around to using 4 but again it is a pointless exercise comparing them to GTX 980 Ti's or Fury Xs as the TitanXs are aimed at a different market and are not direct competitors.

Another serious error the reviewers have made is using Metro last light as the game will only support 2 way setups from both vendors lol.

Concur. That is one moronic review. It speaks volumes of the reviewer too. What were they thinking? Click bait?

Yeap, as mentioned AB 4.2 will bring voltage control to fiji!

At least they use a more realistic resolution for the setup. Too bad about the stuttering in gta5.

probably they were testing during the period of bad patches from Rockstar, since GTA 5 has been always very kind to me in xfire.

There was also a period when GTA 5 benchmark was half broken :)

Do you have all the advanced features maxed out as well? Reason I ask is that I have one Fury and one is being RMA'd, now the supplier is refunding rather than replacing and I am trying to decide whether to buy another to go with my impending 4k screen or leave it. I mainly play GTA5 but have read that the 4gb memory is a problem Crossfired and all settings maxed. If you could confirm that it is OK then I may go ahead and order another.

I do not have frame scaling enabled, since that is just multiplying the frames, same as upscaling of resolution, so at 4k, when you 2x frame scale you end up with 8k resolution in theory. So that is disabled. And I do not use AA filters, since at 4k they absolutely useless. So AA disabled and frame scale disabled and everything else on absolute max fits into 4Gb very nicely (actual usage is ~4100Mb).
And single player runs fantastic at these settings on 2xfury x. around 70fps. multiplayer is different story, but rockstar multiplayer is half retarded anyway ;)
Also you need to note that some users report some weird behaviour in win 10, but since then AMD had couple of driver revisions and rockstar couple of patches.

P.S. on related note, GTA 5 with maximum view distance looks absolutely mesmerising ;) the city itself looks so alive as you can actually see car lights moving at the other end of the city :)

These look good at £499, what's the verdict on them? Are there still many issues with them or might I be better off with a non-X?

Not sure to be honest, you'd think by now the pump issues would be sorted. Seems to be you either get a quiet one, one that has a whine, or one that sounds vaguely like a fridge.
