The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Just ordered one, if I would gone to Forex and paid same amount in SEK for GBP I would have gotten £512.65. So more or less same as the estimated £509 you guys been mentioning here.. hopefully have it end of next week, all depending on our lovely post service here in Sweden. :)

Was going to wait for some more user reviews but what I read so far and seeing one retailer here in Sweden had them in stock I couldn't wait. :o

Nice piccies, chaps, and a stunning looking build there, Matt. I think it'd be impossible to get anything other than a good looking build with this card!

I so want one, but am going to hold out for next year's refresh, when DX12 is a bit more mature and hopefully things a bit clearer, with regards to DX12 performance etc.

Think I may need a mobo bios update, when I first boot up the BIOS screen is the wrong size, so I can't edit any settings.

Do you think mobo needs an update to support Fury X outside of Windows?

we are few here but our voice carry fury with it :)
14 cant come fast enough

Think all the animosity to start with was ott.

Always going to be haters on both sides, but for a day one card with still VERY juvenile drivers it really is flying performance wise and as people are say, owners all seem to be rating them very highly indeed once they in their machines

Good work AMD I really hope these cards bring a real fight back to the top of the gpu food chain :)

Fair point and yes more to come, we're always looking to improve performance in our drivers.

Who knows what's right around the corner? :)

Any owners have pCARS?

A detailed benchmark (of what your test setup was: track; # of AI; date/time; weather; visual/performance settings etc.) would be much appreciated. ;)

I might do something daft in the not so distant future and order an X99 system; freesync 1440p/2k monitor and a FuryX... If the FuryX performance is in the ballpark of at least a 980.

Always easy money when it's vs Sconne. :p

It's limiting like he said. EVGA had to put out oil sheik models with better specs. Point to Matt!

It has nothing to do with the bandwidth limitation of the bridge, children. lol Matt you really need to be careful what you say on Twitter. It's putting that sort of spin on things without proof that gives AMD a bad rap, genuinely.

Its a good way to do it. Get results out in the open showing competing performance.....wait a while and put a driver set out that turns it up to 11!

How is it a good way to do it when a lot of people waiting for the Fury X went and bought a 980ti on launch day instead.

I'd rather they released the card ahead of the 980ti from the get go than be told to wait and see.
