The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Why there isn't any tool ready to start, fresh drivers and prove this cards worthevery penny? Can't understand...

Why a lot of things really lol. There is a lengthy assessment process on these utilities normally. That and sample size was obviously limited this time round, the right people possibly not getting the card in time.

[EDIT] Funnily enough I've just had a reply from Adrian Thompson from Sapphire. Trixx support should be available in the coming weeks. They're having to do a lot of work due the complexity of the chip and need more time for implementation.

His words not mine

Will be a huge upgrade for you Tony, not just in performance but in temps, looks and noise. (lack of) Having four in the case sounds the same as having one because the cooler is overkill.

Really looking forward to seeing Freesync with it as well. Might drop another into the system around November time as long as AMD work on crossfire profiles for them. Been very lacklustre from the company to be fair over these last 6 months or so regarding crossfire in games.

The AOI for me is a big plus if the voltage unlock gives good along with win10, not having to worry about heat in cross-fire is a very nice touch.

Any-chance of a few gaming benchmarks @ 4k AMDMatt with tri/quad Fury X?, or will you be waiting for voltage unlocking/driver updates?.

From what Sapphire are telling me it sounds as though the memory will be locked down for the foreseeable future. Not that this is a major concern. Sounds as though like with any new IC it is literally just a case of it may well degrade, and thus we don't want you to brick them.

Where's the fun in that :p

Has anyone tested the fury x on windows 10 yet? Would definitely like to see some Dx12 benchmarks as well as if the drivers for win 10 make a difference (many games run better under win 10 on amd hardware).
