The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

I'd never get two of these in a case unless I bought a bigger case... so I'm curious to see how the non-X Fury will stack up against the Fury X... x2 of those in Crossfire could be a serious contender if the price is right and once the drivers mature, plus voltage unlock.

What case do you have, out of interest?

I have a Cooltek W2. I could put rad(s) at bottom I suppose, but it would be a bit of cabling mess. That could be height clearance prohibitive anyway come to think of it.

Pretty sure I saw a review where someone put an AIO at bottom and said that would restrict SLI/X-Fire.

Fury x2 is also on its way ;)

Wonder if they will opt for a 240mm rad for the FuryX2 I know the 295x2 only had 120mm but if you had double the rad space you would still keep the noise low with cool temps etc.

I'll probably get one of these as long as AMD don't try to release them for £1300 or whatever the 295x2 came in at.

I have a feeling it will come in with a real hefty price tag. Nvidia don't look to be responding so in theory it should be the fastest card on the market by a land slide. Hopefully Amd use a bit of Common sense and price it somewhere in the region of a grand.

This is my concern too, I've two on pre order and not sure if my NZXT H630 will take them. I already have have a X40 AIO CPU in there.

Some more benches for ya.

How's the noise with the Fury X? I've read a few reviews, results seem to have been distorted by review models unlike retail models having a coil whine fault?

I'm currently on an R9 290 4GB, sounds like a jet engine under load & puts me off playing my heaviest game (skyrim plus a ton of mods), plus major stuttering, lacking fps.

Spent a few mins in GIMP doing this idea for a new sig Matt:

Thanks dude. I'm hopefully going to have a new and updated one soon, but if not I'll use this.

Completely silent at stock/load and idle. None of my pumps make noise and only one of the cards has a bit of coil whine when on menu's and fps are in the thousands. When playing games however the whine disappears.
