It was one of the most hyped PS3 games and it delivered so little. Lucklily I only played the demo and didnt actually buy it. Poor, very poor.

Ninja Gaiden 2 isn't that bad but I suppose trying to sequel the best game ever made is always tough. I played the original to death... the sequel I've played for a couple of hours and it just can't hold my interest, massive disappointment.

Saints Row 2 and Mercenaries 2. Was looking forward to both of them, the former because of all the hype of it being a GTA4 beater (in terms of fun and longevity) and the latter because Mercs on PS2 was so good. Very disappointed with both, although I at least managed to find reason to get me through SR2; I gave up on Mercs 2.

Metal Gear Solid 4, story, gameplay and music were all inferior to the other other mgs game.

Assassin's Creed, FarCry 2, both some of the worst high budget games of this generation.

Needless to say I will not be buying any Ubisoft games again for a while.

Jeez a lot of choices and comments in this thread I cant get my head round. Killzone 2 single player! wtf! For me Id say biggest let down was GTAIV. So stripped down and broken. Was bored after a couple of hours! It normally takes me years to get bored of GTA.

True, it looks like it may well be the first rubbish game in one of the longest running series of awesome (if you exclude all the spinoff titles obviously, i'm talking resi 1,2,3,4)

Thats what I thought. After completing it I was like "Where are all the parts that I say WoW at!"
Just didn't happen for me.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts

I was a big fan of the originals on the N64 and was really exited about it when I saw the first trailer.
When I played it I was very dissapointed that they had changed the direction of the game so much. It was like a completly different genre.
The game was very simple and there was hardly any exploration like in the originals (enter a world - look on the map - go to challenge). Most of the challenges were very repetitive and just not fun to play.
