I can get KOTOR2 to work in Vista x64 if you disable sound,so clearly something to do with the Vista sound system that causes a crash.

Ok I have just tried KOTOR (FIRST ONE) it plays fine,so basically I can play first one with no problems, but KOTOR 2 can only be played with sound disabled,I'm using Vista x64.

I did read that KOTOR 2 does have problems with Vista at the official forums.

Can ANYONE who has a copy of Theme Park World (the old classic) try it in Vista for me please? It's a fav of mine and I've never had it running under XP properly so I'm somehow hoping Vista will run it :(

I use Vista Home Premium x32

and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 plus both Expansions work perfectly. I ahve also tried RCT2 and that copes with no problems as well.

Thanks

Neil

Tiger Woods 2007 doesn't work with Vista, the graphics are well shot and I can't see EA bringing out a patch to fix it now, so we'll have to wait until TW 2008.

As expected. Bloody starforce!

Couldn't get

Soldiers: Heroes Of World War II to work :(

It just throws up the error, 'This Game was desgined to be played on Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003' and even playing around with compatibility makes no difference.

Trying on Vista HP x86 with an X1800XT and Cat 7.1's

If it's DOS based you should try DOSBox.

Hi all

I run this set up on windows vista x64

Intel PD 920 oc to 2.94

2 GB of ddr2 ram 667 MHz

6800gs in SLI 256mb

GA 8N SLI Mobo nForce4 SLI Intel

Drivers I am using are for the nForce4 SLI Intel are Version: 15.00 and for
the GPU I am using Version: 100.64

I have a lot of games so prepare yourself

1. NFS carbon installs fine then I install patch and then I launch it then it comes up with the EA games bit then crashes to the desktop.

2. NFS MW installs fine and then I install the patch then I launch it but the performance is way bad compared to XP I would say it is unplayable

3. Call of duty 1 and the add on and call of duty 2 work fine

4. Crahday works perfect

5. Flight sim 2004 works perfect

6. Far cry works perfect

7. NFS U does not install at all

8. NFS U2 works perfect

9. Roller coaster tycoon 3 works perfect

10. Brothers in arms road to hill 30 works fine and so does Brothers in arms earned in blood

11. Fear I have not tried yet but will do

12. Battlefield 2 works but has to run it as admin

13. TOCA race driver 3 works well

14. Ghost recon advanced war fighter works well

15. Juiced works but the colours go funny some times

16. Halo works well

17. Driv3r works like ****

18. GTA SA works very well make sure u update it to patch 1.1

19. Worms 4 Mayhem was a nightmare it installed then it won ted me to reboot so I did it because it wan ted to install that star force thing but then vista would not boot up said there was a file corrupt in C:\system32 \drivers so I had to go into safe mode and delete it out all thanks to worms 4 mayhem I have tried this a number of times and does the same each time.

20. Battle field 2142 works 100%

21. Sims 2 works 95% because u can t change the in game AA because it is greyed out

22. this one upsets me most because I love this game Flat out 2 it installs and it works but when I go and race it does not render it right at all its all jittery and does not feel right at all sooooooooooo I sent NVIDIA a email bout my problem hope they do something bout it.
And if u think all these games worked 100% in windows XP shocking but anyway I will continue with the games list later that’s enough for now.
