(Trackmania Nations)

Installs ok but @ play screen just crashes.
you can get an updated version of Starforce off their website that works.

Need to run NFS Carbon in 98/ME compatibility mode.

NFSMW was awful for me too, anyone getting this running ok?

Tiger Woods 07 worka but comes up with a warning about the installer having issues with Vista.

Colin McRae 04&05 no go.

TOCA 2 works if you use a no-cd crack (I do own the game)

Trackmania Nations works ok if you use the updated starforce drivers off their website.

Dungeon Keeper 2 works if run in XP and admin modes combined.

football manager 07 works fine but the installer disables Aero.

Anyone else had issues running Guild Wars at the same time as Skype?

How do u guys get trackmania nations working coz when i run it in admin mode and click play it says to driver is not digitally signed so = i can t play it so how do u turn the microsoft digitally signed thing off.

Worms World Party doesn't work, when you enter a game the screen goes black but you can still hear the sound.

Games working:
need For speed Most Wanted

Games not working
Need for speed carbon
GTA SA

My Rig:
Windows Vista Home Premium x64 OEM
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.0Ghz
ASUS P5N-E SLI
ASUS 8800GTS 640mb

Need For Speed Carbon was not working for me either at first try, until I used an old trick that fixed BF2 for me under Windows XP...

Go to the Need For Speed Carbon game directory, find the "MOVIES" folder and rename it to "MOVIES_non" or anything other than the default, now Need For Speed Carbon should hopefully work for you too, you just won't be greeted by the games start_up films :)

Far Cry with 1.4 patch here won't run at all, getting a black screen... without patch it runs but it well...has no rendering modes enabled.

x64 Ultimate btw.

Think this all boils down to drivers.

Wait till some solid stable drivers for sound / graphics come out, and I bet 99% of games that work in XP will work in Vista no problem.

As the threads going, for an example, 1 person has to run Battlefield 2 with administrator rights, I dont, it just works.

GTA SA works like a dream on my Ultimate x86, but others cant run it.

Give it a month or 2 for drivers, and they'll work.

P.S.
I know it's a pain waiting for drivers thats certified, but there you go, cant be helped.
Does'nt help that Microsoft foobered things in Vista either, like removing the Hardware Acceleration Layer thing on sound, dont ask me for techie terms right now, I have had a jar or 3 :) why Creative have no drivers yet, except for beta's.
But everyone should get the gist of what i'm saying.
