The GeForce GTX 1080 Is The Best Selling High-End Card Ever Released – AIBs Confirm

Gibbo if the gbp doesn't stabilise instantly how quickly will gpu prices rise through the roof?

Edit: Crap wrong thread, but still

As soon as next orders arrive I would imagine. Stock and stuff arriving now would have being paid at the old rates, next week everything should be 10% more expensive or worst.

So Fe cards will be 681 instead of 621.

We put some prices down yesterday! :)

Unfortunately today most of our catalogue shall be going up in my price!!

I am flying back now, if things do not stabilise by 15:00 we shall be adjusting all prices on pretty much all products purchased in USD which is 75% of our product range.

Don't blame us you guys voted out!!

In short hate it really hate it as our business never being so good but this has a massive impact on the price we pay for items. :(

Some say could hit as low as 1.20 today, God I hope not !!!!!

Most items are on 30-60 day Accounts so items in stock now not paid for have to go up otherwise when we pay we have a massive loss on exchange rate variance so the effect is quite immediate!

Fortunately stock like Palit 1080 we purchased in GBP so we can hold price at £599 and stay at or under old MSRP but the rest of 1080 range will go up £60 and all other components also effected.

I shall update prices at 15:00 today so I'm giving you time to order!

Appreciate it.

Gibbo .Have the Xtreme Premier pack recalled ? or just only standard box one that recalled ?

if the case then i might swap to something else before price change .

Is there such a thing as panic buying a graphics card? Was gonna wait on couple of 480's for some crossfire freesync goodness, but since we can't decide whether performance is that of a lemon or small supercomputer, I've gone for the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC Gaming ACX 3.0 instead....

Yup, I panic bought a 1070 for 1440p
(Mini-itx so crossfire isn't an option)

Not anymore it isn't

There was talk yesterday about honesty...

Evga FE 1070 already on £20 gouged prices yesterday and OcUK have lopped another £21+ on top, now it's £441.49, is the gouging worth ****ing off and losing loyal long time customers gibbo?

edit £472.49 for FTW pre-order, and it's available on pre-order elsewhere at original £409 mrrp- ridiculous

I don't often agree with you but I do here very naughty of OcUK. The pound is strengthening but OcUK not reflecting that at all and only basing on when the pound was at its lowest. And Gibbo saying nothing will change till 3pm. Personally notinterested in buying at the mo on anything but I wouldn't want to pay the extra gouging on the gouging already if I was.

Even worse he said they buy the Pallit in sterling so the prices of them won't change but they have all gone up the same as the other cards.
