Haven't played in around a year has much changed? Got bored with it in the end and just hung around the busiest areas running quizzes and giving away free gold and ectos. Think I'll pop on soon and check out what birthday presents i've got.

Your just jealous, and compared to TFU it was purely a focal point for players from OcUK rather than a proper clan. Whereas and feel free to correct me if i'm wrong your clan is a proper clan and open to recruitment albeit a large portion of your members come from OcUK.
 
back to playing again, decided that it is time that I started working on unlocking stuff for the hall of monuments, anybody wants a hand with anything, if I can help, especially if it involves the eternal grove that I've been having 'issues' with..

Anyways, add me, give me a poke, Ceryn Ashar, level 20 ranger, currently working through nightfalls/eotn, technically finished with factions/prophecies.
 
Seems account based rather than character based which i suppose is a good thing.

Interesting stuff.
Honour - 15/18 on the honor tree, though all i can do to boost it is get a PvP achievement which i don't think i have any chance of getting.
Resilience - 6/8 i need a vabbian and obsidian set displayed, though considering i don't like any Obsidian sets that'll be... wasteful.
Valor - 2/8 what can i say pretty much every single Destroyer and Tormented item looks absolutely ****, no idea what the Opressor ones are.
Fellowship - 2/8 that'll be easy enough... i've just never bothered to add my heroes, though i do need to finish levelling a Black Moa...
Devotion - 3/8, i've added 5... just need to add another 45, lol. I have a bunch that aren't added so that'll work for that.
 
levelling a black moa? hmmm.. mine was level 20 when I got it :)

You're already at 28/50, after 30 there is nothing but titles to unlock.

As for me, only 14/50 atm, much to be done, including the 'War in Kryta', and soon the 'Winds of Change' or whatever the Canthan update will be.

Plenty to do.. As always, I can be found on 'Ceryn Ashar' if anyone needs me.
 
Really loved guild wars up until eye of the north, this whole hall of monuments thing confused me and the nice casual mmo started to turn into something too in depth for me to care about..

Is it really worth doing? I can't bring myself to play it unless im playing with people i know but no one i know plays it anymore (used to absolutely love it when it first came out, running about with all my mates on ventrilo doing mission after mission until 4am)
 
Hmm, that tester doesn't find my character.. which is a little worrying. Now I'm going to have to reinstall and make sure I still exist...
 
The HoM unlocks, are worth doing if you want the unlocks, otherwise it is no big deal, I've gotten to 14/50 just by working on the main questlines, much of it is simple stuff that doesn't require huge amounts of work.

Hell, you get three points, just for having the HoM to begin with. Add to that minipets that you've collected, prestige armour sets, hero's and companions (believe me, black moa, phoenix, any other ranger pet, and 3 statues, add in MOX is 4, any other upgraded hero is 5 = full display..)

This is correct, your characters will not show up on the calculator until you've logged in on that account at least once since the calculator was brought in.

I'm quite happy myself as I'm on 47/50 and only need 1 mini pet, and 2 weapons (either 2 Oppressors, or 1 tormented and an oppressor).

So my GW2, is all sorted. Just don't ask about the other 5 accounts :D

For the record about 98% of TFU guys are from OCUK. If this guild was called OCUK then fair enough.... but its not :confused: its called "thegodlessguild".... Thats all i was asking.

The HoM is just something to consider if you want to get GW2. All it does is give you some items in GW2, getting to 30/50 (as after that there are no more items, just titles) isn't particularly hard if you have some cash.

Lol. Well my problem is i haven't added a single hero, most of my minipets weren't added and i only have a single weapon (because they're all ****e). The only hard part i'll probably have is getting the PvP title which is worth 3 points though it obviously depends how much the other tracks will cost me. I'm gonna have to buy plenty of weapons, i need to complete a Vabbian set (think my Derv has a piece of 2) and i need to decide which Obsidian set i like the look of. Then its just a case of buying the Zaishen (PvP) title track i guess... 200 keys for 1mil is apparently all it takes.

And my second account aint logged and would probably fail miserably even if it was :P

Are the items really worth it? if there definitely worth it then i might play a bit more. I'll definitely be bashing away at GW2 :D
 
Theres no way to know yet. All we know is what some of them are (since the HoM reward indicator tells you there names), but we have no idea of the stats or the time you get them. It could be a huge advantage to have them from the start, at least in your first playthrough, or they could just be late game items that differ in nothing but skin like they do now.

If you still enjoy GW theres no harm in doing it tbh. Honour is the only 1 that could be hard if you didn't have many titles in the first place. Everything else just requires money.
