Lets assume a Warbattons thick slice bread is the bread of choice, i am sure most people are familiar with it and the tin of beans has had a good shaking of rolling/spinning to distribute the juice.

Is 4 slices of bread the standard or am I just a pig ?

3 slices of bread.

All toasted and cut diagonally.
You end up with this pattern:
Code:
   /\
  /__\
/||\ ||\
\||_\||/
  \  /
   \/
You can leave the middle one unsliced.

Use the outer pieces to dip in the beans.

I like the thought but wrong.

Toast, buttered, laid on top of each other, pre-cut into squares (5x4), beans on top.

Anyone eating beans on toast with a knife as well as a fork is not prepping enough beforehand.
