Especially as a 996 turbo weighs 1.6 ton and that's 4wd? Makes you think somebody made a mistake when weighing. Wiki says 1.5 ton for the 991 gt2 rs. I can't imagine a facelift adding 300 kilos.

It doesn't weight that much. Book figure is 1470kg (DIN), 1545kg (EU) – the latter being more reflective of the real-world weight as it includes 75kg worth of driver/load.

Still seems quite heavy for what is supposed to be a track focused car tbh. That is family saloon kind of weight.

I wish for the special they'd done it as 3 teams - with each of the presenters paired up with a guest and had to build 3 vehicles (maybe a bit more DIY with a range of parts) with some kind of race between the teams rather than as it is - would have been much more interesting IMO.

Special was really good, they made Mongolia look really well.

First special where you felt they were actually getting on with each other and not acting up for the camera.

Haven't been the biggest fan of this last series,but did enjoy the Mongolia special .

Felt like the most genuine thing they have done for a while. What an incredible country, and what a vehicle John is, had what a lot of great vehicles have, character

John hopping up those hills was just like a mate's Boxer dog when he was a puppy. Mad thing used to bounce everywhere when he was excited - which, being a Boxer, was all the bloody time.
