Of course he was knocking it down anyway, surely nobody expected any different? They just made it a bit more fun by including it as a story within GT that's all.

Well I thought it was lame...Hammond swearing on the life of his own children stating it's Defo clarksons house..

I mean who cares ? Really ?

Lots of people presumably, its a bit of fun

Hammond was making a big deal of it...when in essence it was getting knocked down anyway...

Ooo the drama ! Lol

It's a scripted entertainment show. Whether or not you like it is entirely your choice, but I think people know what they're getting.

Of course it was getting knocked down anyway, did you honestly think that they were demolishing an actual house worth 7 figures against the owners wishes for the sake of tv?!

I thought it was a pretty good side feature which was funny and made sense to do given the timing of the demolition...

I mean, I know Amazon can probably afford it and all, but... :D

Top Gear (or rather its presenters) weren't shy of the odd bit of controversy, they could just carry on that tradition :p

I liked it, but RH was annoying. Great cinematography. Best episode so far.

That could be said for every episode of GT and TG he's been in, ever.

I've only watched the first episode so far and it was pretty hard to stick with it. I had to fast forward through all of the guff outside of the cars because Hammond is such an annoying *******.

They did some filming near me in Nashville on the 21st for episode 5, completely forgot about it otherwise I'd have had a mooch up there.

I love the Hellcat, such a raw noise, and a 6.2 American V8. Everything about it is so wrong, which makes it so right.

Best TG/GT episode in ages. Need more of that please, well apart from the celeb bit!

Hammond does seem to be laying it on a bit thick, does he not?

Just finished, that was much better.
Agree with getting rid of the dead celebrity bit and Hammond overacting.

And OMG Easyrider, JC was only bothered about his picture.
