After about 20 months, I think Poll IV has done it's finest, so here's a nice fresh new version.

Ubuntu vote here. I've tried RedHat and Fedora in the past but just didn't get on as well them.

I like ubuntu's wiki as well which has probably helped my learning process.
 
Have Xgl running on fedora 5 works like a charm in gnome i love it :D
Only problem is have only one desktop switcher in KDE change back to 4 in control center but it won t have it real shame as prefer kde
have googled it but no joy yet :(

Do you need a beefy gfx card for it I was thinking of moving my suse box to FC5 or Open SUSE 10.1. I have a 128MB GF3
 
Well. I tried Ubuntu and found it rather difficult / impossible to get the LAN setup with the other Win XP computers. I have now installed Fedora and most of the work was done for me on install. I've got a lot to learn but it looks good so far.

Oh, I've install fedora 4 so am hoping that Fedora 6 will be even better.
