The great sandwich debate (inspired by le petit lapain)

pastrami, avacado (must be ripe) and coleslaw on a nice malty granary bread.

I know you haven't tried it, try it tomorrow and then you'll agree with me.

Either Ham salad, with ham, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, little bit of onion and salt and pepper
or
the thing from Subway with lots of meat on it, think it's ham, salami and pepperoni with cheese, onion, lettuce, cucumber and peppers.

Banana sanwiches are pretty good too :)

German peppered salami, smoked ham, bird eye chillis, red onion and grated irish mature cheddar on top, all slightly melted in the oven.

People at work started asking me if i'll make them for 'em. ;)

edit: oh, on ciabatta of course.

If i'm buying a sandwich = Footlong Meatball Marinara from Subway.

Making a sandwich = Sliced chicken breast, rasher of bacon cut into small strips, tomato, cucumber and a bit of mayo.

My favourite sandwich:

Start with thick slice of white bread. Spread Colman's English mustard over it. Layer of fried bacon. Layer of fried sausage. Fried egg. Slice of fried bread. Layer of fried sausage. Layer of fried bacon. Another slice of white bread with Colman's.

Chop in half (and who honestly cares if that makes two sandwiches or one? ;)), press down on it to make it slightly thinner, and scoff. Then check into the nearest hospital for the inevitable health problems that result from eating a sandwich like that....

I've just happily finished a Mature Cheese, Smoked Ham and Red Onion Sandwich with mayo.

Two slightly obscure but fantastic sandwiches I love are Mature Cheese and Pickled Onion Monster Munch or A Dairylea and Salt and Vinegar Pringle Sandwich.

Love the Tuna and Cucumber Bloomer from Gregs too.

I also believe that 2 slices of bread cut into 2 is one sandwich.

Fajita chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sweetcorn, BBQ sauce(or mayo) on a large soft white sub :]

mmm had one for lunch today, twas lovely!
