Edit - Just had a few laps on Spa, 29 cars, thunderstorm, Full Ultra, DSM aliasing with Geforce Exp recording and MSI AB overlays on and didn't have a single crash. Power Target was at 105% max tdp.

I think I could come back to high end when things see some real progression, but I really like the small for factor stuff. So moving away from this larger desktop setup just makes sense for me atm.

980ti fits in sff i can vouch for that.

Ah yeah good shout, but I'm using really small form factor. Zotac Zbox en760.

Does me fine for daily use as I'm gaming on console more and more.

I might come back to high end PC gaming at some point in the future, but another Zbox type thing is more appealing tbh. The En970 looks quite tasty for an all in one mini system.

Finally picked up my new gpu today after being without for a while. Slightly unsure about the silver backplate as it looked white on the pictures but its not too bad in reality and certainly not a deal breaker.

please add to the RoH

I couldn't wait and played it through locked at 30fps. Was quite smooth all things considering but ill be playing it again anyways and ill 100% it next time

But of course we're waiting for nvidia to make it play how its meant to be played.

If their statement about supporting in fixing general stuff...such that amd users would see...that's good. I doubt amd could afford to deploy any staff at the moment. I bet expenses are none existant.

Yeah of course you can bud. Im still amazed how the motion blur makes 30fps seem no where near as harsh as it does in every other game Ive ever played at that frame rate

Yeah lately I've been spending money for the sake of it, like habit really lol. Not really gaming on PC or enjoying as much as I used to. When I do get 5 mins to play games it tends to be on PS4 now, and my mini PC is fine for daily PC use, like web stuff, media playback. It can even run BF4 if I get desperate for mouse and keyboard FPS lol. So yeah good time to step away from the high end stuff.

Never say never though I may build something high end in the future but tbh something like the en970 in the future would be ideal compromise of performance vs form factor.

Guys a little help please? I'm debating on which 980 Ti to get, I'm stuck between the MSI 6G and the Gigabyte g1
the pros / cons for the MSI against the g1
+would look better in my system with the red and black
+no choil wine against the g1
+cheaper
+better looking backplate (imo)
-lower OC potential, ( I know this is luck of the draw but the g1s clock higher on average)
- higher temps slightly
-slightly more noisy
can't decide what to get just thought I'd see if anyone could help?

My msi gaming does 1535 @ 69C on 80% fan, which is quiet
Looking on here most people with the Msi gaming are getting around 1500... The G1 is getting about the same on OC, but people are saying its pretty audible at anything much over 55-60%

MSI. Its quieter at higher fan speeds and even if its slightly slower you would never even notice it. Thats if it IS even slower! They cracking cards and for me the best cooling system on the market bar the AIO's

They are much of a muchness performance wise which means the next point for me would be noise in which the G6 wins every time
