The GTX 980 Ti owners thread.

Anything over 50% on the reference coolor is pretty bad imho.. I cant wait for corsair to release their bracket so i can properly mount my spare h100i.. im already clapping my hands with joy just at the thought of it.

This is the one i want. Should fit without issues.

The GM200 does love water, I'm getting around 48C max benching temp at 1511/2040 at max stock voltage increase with a single 120mm rad and single 120mm fan and 70% pump speed.

So excited after watching a load of 980ti video reviews of 4k benchmarks.

Hoping my EVGA GeForce GTX 980Ti Superclocked ACX 2.0 comes before Friday, I think there's good chance since one store was supposed to have stock 5th June and another 10th June so this week is most likely

Bloody hell! Talk about overkill, 240m rad for each GPU?!

To be entirely honest, I find my Corsair H110GT to be louder than my two reference air cooled 980Tis.

Then again it all sounds like a bloody hair dryer compared to the 2013 Mac Pro I used for a year. :p

By the time GTX980Tis are in stock Pascal will be out.

Its only 900 more YOLO :D

Not £900 more to be fair. Two EVGA reference 980 Ti's came to £1139.98, a pair of OcUK reference Titan X's came to £1679.98, so a £540 difference. But I ordered some fluid and a new motherboard to take me over £2k which nets me an extra 20% off as it's a business purchase. :)

I only have 1 GPU and im not using the stock fans that comes with the h100i.. cause they are dreadful at best.. im using Cougar Vortex 120.. pretty good fan(not the best but good enough)

It would be better if Corsair allowed you to mount the H80i but then they wouldn't be able to red rid of their new 110 cooler

Anyway, can you all stop giving guesstimates for this card as it's annoying me that I don't have one. :D:D:D

Why in MSI G edition in particular, is it higher clocked or cools better then other non-reference choices? I keep bouncing back and forth not knowing wich one I should aim for.

Its well priced for a non reference model, and features a very good cooler. I've got a twin frozr cooled 650ti here so know what the cooler is like. Did consider the gigabyte g1 but its pretty expensive. Thought there might have been a standard windforce model too.

My overclocked MSI 970 Gaming card runs 60-64c max on heaviest stress tests, so I can testify as well to being content with MSI. But I can't imagine finding such a 980 TI equalivent considering all the reported tempratures on them exceeding 80c. I'm really just waiting for the first 980 TI non-reference review, from anyone. Stock won't be availlable untill probably 2 more weeks in the Netherlands.

I suspect all the non reference models will run a fair bit cooler than the standard cards. I was running x2 gigabyte windforce 780's in sli. As individual cards they wouldn't go above 65c even when clocked. Theese were older more power hungry cards too. I'll be ordering on Tuesday, (waiting on wages clearing) but no idea when the cards will be in stock.

I've personally gone for the EVGA ACX coolers since I really like the aesthetics. I know for sure though that the Twin Frozr cooler on the MSI is pretty damn good. I'd rate it ahead of the EVGA ACX and Asus Strix in terms of noise and temperature.
