The GTX 980 Ti owners thread.

Decided to stick to either MSI, Evga or Gigabyte, purely for warranty.

Could have ordered some Gigabyte just a little while ago, but not at £50 over RRP. Not going to stand for gouging.

Also just noticed - the list of graphics cards says "pre-order" but if you actually go to the page it says 3 ready for immediate dispatch ( which should change to 2 soon)

Hang on before you start cancelling your pre-orders. OCUK have confirmed they are getting stock now, as you can see with Gigabyte and KAF2. For all we know EVGA could be sending 50+ stock their way this week, so hold fire until Sunday.

Gigabyte are OK with aftermarket coolers and Corsair have said their bracket does/will support the 980 ti reference - I have a H100 laying around from a few months ago so I can just slap that on there.

It doesn't Watercool the card like a proper block would though, something to keep in mind.

Is anyone planning to watercool their 980Ti? If so what card/block combo are you looking at. I was thinking the EK Titan X full cover with backplate and the MSI Gaming card.

That Gigabyte reference price though

I'm going to be putting mine underwater when I set up my first loop later this month. Going for the Gigabyte reference card (from elsewhere cause of that gouge price) & EKWB Titan X Acetal. I did get an email from MSI Customer Service earlier that told me stock cooler removal is fine, despite various people on their official forums saying otherwise *facepalm*
