Ok, so following on from my previous issues I'm a little more concerned now.

Was playing Assetto Corsa when my monitor went blank and switched itself into stand-by but my PC was still on.

Following a reboot the PC hung for a while on the windows screen then restarted itself. I checked the reliability monitor and it reports than "LogonUI" stopped working many times as did "Windows Logon User Interface Host". Maybe I need to reinstall Windows?

It also reported a hardware error and in the description was the following:

LKD_0x117_Tdr:3_TdrBug:575504_TdrVTR:10_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys

I recognise the "nvlddmkm" from Nvidia based stuff so it seems my GPU stopped working. Could this be driver related?

Any help would be appreciated gents!

More than likely an unstable overclock.

Then probably a driver problem. Use the machine as normal and monitor it, see if there's a pattern.

Won't do any harm. Do you run Afterburner? If so, uninstall AB, download the latest Nv drivers, click on custom install and run a clean install so it removes the old drivers before writing the new, then re-install AB if you use it.

Got my new desktop rig today after gaming on my Alienware laptop for the last year or so. How much of a leap from SLI GTX 780m to my 980Ti am I going to see?

A little help please!

I have a EVGA 980ti Hybrid. To overclock i've increased powerlimit to 110% and increased the GPU offset to +121mhz in EVGA Precision. Mem offset is +0. That gives me 1450 boost.

It seems stable in unigine but occasionally in gaming I get crashes to desktop with an error message saying display driver crashed and recovered or something like that.

Im assuming thats due to an unstable overclock? My GPUZ VDDC is 0.874v at idle and 1.199 on 99% load in valley. Temps never exceed 35 degrees. Do I need to overvolt it? If so do I drop the power target to 100% first? How much overvoltage is typically needed or safe?

Picked up an EVGA 980ti, EVGA SUPERNOVA G2 750w PSU, Noctua NH-D9L, 16GB FuryX Hyper RAM, Corsair 240 Air. Kept my SSD, HDD's, Mobo and CPU.

Looking forward to spending some time here, cheers.

No fan curve is auto. After a few hours it can reach 40/41. The only thing I can hear from the card is the coil whine.

Im assuming thats due to an unstable overclock? My GPUZ VDDC is 0.874v at idle and 1.199 on 99% load in valley. Temps never exceed 35 degrees. Do I need to overvolt it? If so do I drop the power target to 100% first? How much overvoltage is typically needed or safe?

Get a custom bios on there, getting the hybrid cooler for my TX tomorrow and already have a custom bios loaded with the stock cooler, should get your another 100mhz at least.
