To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your 980 Ti.​
 
Mine boosts to 1550mhz with the fans in now and and a slight overclock. Doesn't go over 63.c but cant finish a Firestrike run. Does all of the until after the physics tests. Just bombs out saying i'm missing a driver. What could that be?
 
Your driver is crashing / oc is too high. I wouldn't call 1550mhz a slight overclock it's a very high clock speed.
I can't even get that with a custom bios changing voltages.

The speed on the box speed is usually in almost all cases easily passed. What your actual boost speed is a function of temperatures (Maxwell cards love colder temps) and the quality of the chip.

Pretty much. Based on the temperature and power limit it will dynamically over clock above and beyond what the boost clock is listed as in places and will adjust accordingly. As it gets hotter it will reduce the over clock. Its one of the reasons why the cards with beefy coolers or under water seemingly perform better. Its thanks to Boost 2.0 and happens on all the Maxwell cards and I think (someone correct me if I am wrong here) some of the older Kepler cards.
 
My fans and the aggressive profile has made my temps drop dramatically too. 21 degrees idle 63 load. Even at 1510mhz. To be honest looking around on the internet seems that I might have a bad figure. I probably left a clock on. Regardless these cards are crazy fast. Roll on the division on Tuesday!!

Also I thoroughly recommend the S12B redux noctua fans. Crazy amounts of air for no noise whatsoever.

Yeah they are. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, it's not even worth overclocking for general gaming.

Was really just an overall summary of what I was able to achieve along with a few notable points from the GPUZ logs I was running in the background.

Really really happy with my setup just now. Im still going under water eventuaklly but for now, very happy.

hlennie - that used to happen to me only it wasn't only when games crashed. Full screen videos on youtube used to make my clocks drop and I resolved it via the power settings in NVC. I changed it to adaptive and it was all good after that
 
I have decided to go SLI with my 980Ti. Second card is coming tomorrow and this is the first time I've ever gone SLI. I run at 4k and scaling seems to be reasonable enough so thought I will give it a go sooner rather than later.

I could wait for high end pascal cards but then I could continue to wait and wait, and wait..

I did the exact same thing last week and I am over the moon with the performance :)

Which card did you go for and which do you currently have?

That's reassuring and nice to hear.

Probably not the best choices for SLI and cooling but I currently have a MSI 6G gaming with the twin frozr cooler and have just bought the Gigabyte G1 gaming. I know these types of fan designs can cause problems with cooling in SLI but we shall see. My MSI runs ok even overclocked to 1470 (never above 71degC while 4k gaming) I have a double space mobo too which should help a little, I am hoping.

Can always work something out if needs be.
