The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Here are some versus benchmarks using my 780 Classified's vs Titan X.
This is the synthetic benchmark one, games to follow.

780's were clocked at 1176/6502 which are my daily clocks, single and sli.

I overclocked one 780 to 1306/6502 as well for another comparison.

TitanX was boosting at 1177/7012 (stock), 1277/7516(+100/+250) and 1424/8002(+234/500).

Cpu 2700K @ 4.6, 16GB, ram at 1866

Valley 2560 x 1440 Ultra 4xAA
3Dmark11 preset gfx score
Heaven 2560 x 1440 Ultra Extreme Tesselation 8xAA
Firestrike preset gfx score
Firestrike Extreme preset gfx score
Firestrike Ultra preset gfx score

edit: slight mistake on graph the titan was running at 1277/7516 not 1277/7726. Ill repost a new graph later :o

I still don't think its quick enough at 4k but the 1440p performance is a clincher because you only need 2 TX at stock to hit 144fps@1440p.

At stock (not bothered overclocking) I don't actually think these are particularly noisy.

Certainly a lot quieter than the 290x ref that was paired with my 295x2.

Colour me impressed. I don't particularly like a lot of Nvidia business practices and these are silly money but one on it's own is a beast.

Roll on delivery of #2 tomorrow.

I'd love to hear some SLI impressions from people. For the moment the card is great for me, but I'd probably look at whacking another in there in another 2 months or so.

The sound isn't too bad for me either. I play with pretty loud sound system though.

Would be nice to know if that is a good way to do things, (8 pack? ) not that I would expect anyone to have a go, except for those like 8 pack who would be trying for records.

He uses EVGA e-boards, not that it makes any difference. They all do the job they're intended for. Alternatively you can use a dip switch and apply around 1.3v without an eboard, would get you ok results but not record breaking ones lol.

I'm more for system tuning than flash benching TBH. It's all about usable power :p

Haha running mass effect 3 I bet the titan was snoozing :)

BTW I love mass effect games :)

What you talking about?! Thoughts 8 bit textures they used in places can really push a GPU to the limit! :D

But there are some very good mods out there for it though that makes a nice difference visually; possible if he’s running a load of them the Titan might have noticed it was running?
