The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Could you check please. As I'm sure the voltage slider doesn't do anything. Its all limited on the power target, which it seems to exceed using stock volts

Also how did you post that picture I tried in the heaven section to post my results and it just posted a web link ?

Ok checked using HWmonitor and after my last test it was 1.037v max.
This time 230/500 oc and again max temp 75c@65%fan

Use quicktime to open the file saved in screenshots, then take a screenshot of the opened screenshot ( i used prtscn button ) then open "paint" and paste, from there use imgur (upload) choose "bb", then copy/paste.

that's very low for the voltage do you think the add volts are using up my power limit and not giving me the extra performance ill try re running it at a lower voltage.

I have imageShack I don't see any "bb" option?

Just tried that had to push my voltage up to +43mv to get it stable at +250.

Also noticed with the run the score was about 100 points lower and my clock speed was at 1452 instead of 1475 when set to +250.

Max i have gone so far was +230core +500mem @ stock voltage and 110%power, had no issues at all and 75c max@65%fan.

You should just oc in stock voltage parameters before increasing voltage imo.

I'm trying now not use to how this boost works.

I've noticed the clock speed is a lot more constant I just got a new personal best at 1457 clock speed beating my 1475 score by 4 points.

I must have been doing it wrong still got more of my power limit to go.

Thank you for your input :)

Nice and your welcome.
I started at 150/300, stock voltage (never increased this) and power 110% then steadily worked my way up-to 230/500.

I think I'm going to start working on my memory as it at 470 and a lot of results are around 500.

Do you know if the voltage effects the memory or is it just the core ?

Most if not all cards do 500 on the mem (8000 effective) with not much problems. Drop your core if heaven hitches or freezes.

Sometimes more OC on the mem though gives you lower scores..

I would get a few more opinions first but yes you won't be hitting 60fps on the latest games maxed with no AA like DA inquisition, dying light, etc on 1 gpu. G-sync works best from 40-60 fps at 4k but the controls lag wise will not be in the same league as 70-80fps for example at 1440p even though it looks smooth in motion. 1440p will also give you some more room for more taxing future games as well.

So..... I decided to keep my 4k monitor and get another tx sc lol. That was the reason solely for upgrading was to game at 4k not 1440p, I must be nuts spending that much on cards.

How are 2 cards coping in sli with the latest game releases at 4k. I remember having 2 7970's in crossfire some games ran great and others not so. It's just so frustrating spending money on another card when games are poorly optimised.

Because when 1 doesn't work (say for instance the game engine doesn't support SLI very well), 1 Titan X is still more than enough to have a playable experience, albeit perhaps not at 60fps.

As an example i am playing DA inquisition at the moment at 4k, max settings with no AA and sli runs at 60fps but there is an sli issue causing mist and fog to look wrong. So i decided to use just 1 OC gpu instead and i am still pulling above 30fps at all times. But no more than 40 at a guess, average 35fps and with G-sync this is fine for this type of game. With other gpu's i would have had sub 30fps. People would say drop settings but i'm too much of a graphics whore for that. So yeah sli can still be a pain sometimes but as someone else said at least 1 titan x is enough for playable 4k fps without dropping graphic settings.
