The GTX Titan X owners thread.

Not too bothered about waiting until the 15th for the card, although I wish I'd ordered the Titan and my Monitor separately as I want something new to play with now!

I would be interested in knowing if they expect enough stock to clear all 'pre-orders' though.

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your TitanX.

it's strange that it's not a continual production run....why make so few in the 1st place, run out and then have to wait so long, Nvidia are damned lucky that the 390X isn't around right now.

Nop, they are doing the correct business move. Less going around means selling higher and making people wait/want.

They might have thousands sitting in their warehouse and slow-rolling everyone to make the maximum profit possible.

Hey fellas,

Probably gonna stick another in for SLI at somepoint. I have MSI, but if others like the EVGA become available first would you recommend holding off? I know they will work together, I'm just unsure of any downsides etc.

Cheers.

Quick report going from an overclocked 780 phantom to a titan x.

My 780 was a decent clocker so I've held out upgrading until now, couldn't wait for the 980ti so took the plunge.

Haven't seen how far my Titan X will go, just put in 110 power, 200 core and 500 mem.

Tomb raider on extreme/full 4k settings:
780: 31.5
TX: 53.1

Heaven 4 on our standard extreme 1080P test
780 - 1621
TX - 2516
Plenty of moments in this bench when it's cpu bound so I suspect a small push on my cpu and more on the titan will get me to the middle of the TXs on the leaderboard. Saw it hit over 200fps at one point.

What's your boost mate with +200? Are you running a custom fan profile ?

Been seeing some slight corruption occasionally.

This is just on the desktop this morning, haven't played a game or anything and PC was off overnight.

Any ideas?

Looking at that, I'd say VRAM. Possibly/Hopefully it's voltage fluctuations between 2D/3D clocks playing up rather than something more concerning.

Restart the PC and try some benchmarks. I hope it's just a hiccup.

I want to order a Titan X but there's no stock, except the Gigabyte one which is £50-75 more expensive than it should be, only because of low availability.

That looks like GPU corruption of some kind to me. What other examples have you seen?

Hope this isn't the start of Titan X problems. :( I'm sending mine back today (hard locking my system as described a page or two back). I'm not getting a replacement, I'm going back to my rock solid 780 Ti's and will see how things play out this year I think.

I've seen it a couple of times now, but very intermittent.

Never noticed corruption in games, other than when the SLI bridge wasn't connected properly (which is why I was asking about that)

Let me guess. I'll have to test them one at a time over a period of time to see which one it is?

If it is doing it browsing the forums it is probably the top card.

Have you tried different leads to connect your monitor ?

Try each card on its own.

I take it your running 4k?

Is your Sli bridge 4K compatible?

I ask as I had issues running 4K and Sli - Evga ended up swapping the bridge

as they weren't 4K compatible
