Just put in my order for two of the EVGAs :) now just got to wait for a larger 4k monitor with g-sync...

hardly impressive looking at the price is it ?

so it kinda nearly matches 970 gtx in sli for how much 900 quid.

I've owned 970 sli and the headache I had in some games along with the stutter induced when breaching it's the vram cap drove me mental. The fact that a single gpu option exists which nearly matches 970 sli without these sli headaches, substantially more vram and roughly a third of a performance increase over a 980 is pretty good.

What I don't like is the fact that Nvidia have once again found themselves in a nice position to do another price gouging session, whilst AMD are still faffing about and keeping quiet.

In summary, performance is impressive, but the price is it at it's furthest point in relation to what it's actually worth.
