The GTX Titan X owners thread.

right is there a benchmark i want to run to really push this thing? Im running on the standard air cooler set to 60 percent. I could hear it. A very un offensive fan noise compared to my old 570's. out in the country side with the card running at 97 percent in GTA I hit 66 degrees c peak temp. Ive been playing for hours too :D

I guess I should be happy??

Mine is 73.6% if I recall correctly (Gigabyte). Highest I have seen someone mention is 84%. (from OCN and here)

What temps do you guys get with 60% fan profile ? That's a better indicator of how good the chip is.

72c> is above average 73-75c is good, 75-78c is average, 79+ is bad

Gigabyte here as well, ASIC is 77% :)

so fan at 60 percent did a bench run on unigene valley and hit 68 degrees peak but mainly around 65 tp 67. Seems good? Gigabyte seemed to get the best quality cards? my boost went to 1304 peak on its own too.

I am in a haf x with a large fan in its side door blowing directly onto the titan. I'm supposed to be re building into a new air 540 but you guys have put me off now lol

Need to tidy up and swap that black cable for a white one!

But running nice and cool at 49c with minimum fan speeds on the MO-RA3 when gaming.

Would I be mad to change two 980's for two Titan X's for 3440*1440? :)

Or just wait for the Ti to come out?

Yes and Yes. The ti should be here fairly soon if the rumours are true and you already have really good performance. Holding on for a few month's should save you lots of money. That's the sensible route i would say.

Get drunk and buy 2 x Titan X which is a good excuse not to do the sensible thing.

If the 980ti is the exact same card as the TX just with 6gb VRAM I'll be selling up and buying one then seeing how SLI is in the games I play and likely buy another.

All depending on how good AMD's new cards are.
