The GTX Titan X owners thread.

I would take low fi videos recorded with poor gear with a very large pinch of salt. I thought I'd read that the TitanX had a very similar cooler to the previous Titan, which is the same as in my 780Ti's? If so, mine do not sound anything as bad a that. Unless it's going at 100% speed???? Don't forget it's inside a closed case for real world use too.

The Coil whine is not good though! Not something I would put up with on ANY card, let alone one that costs a stupid amount of money...

Also be interesting to know what he’s running on the card, there is a certain point (fps) in which almost any card will squeal.

Also as above, unless they’ve changed the cooler massively from the 780/780ti/Titan then at the 48% fan speed it’s reaching on that video it should not be audible inside a case, if its making that sort of noise at that RPM theres something wrong, or the microphone is terrible.

So unless I’m reading the info on the screen wrong, as keeping that card under 90c on load with under 50% fan speed is quite good.

The card is throttling the clocks back to keep it under 84oc and this happens really quick. Watch again and see the power consumption fall and the clocks drop around 100 mhz to keep the heat down. I think these will do really well on water and for those on air i reckon a more aggressive fan profile will be needed.

No chance of any custom aftermarket coolers, it's forbidden from Nvidia on the Titans. It's the stock one or with a waterblock.

I wondering if Inno's AiO version of it is the start of a lessening of those rules.
I'm sure Nvidia can see a market for custom cards , only have to look at classifieds/kingpins

yet EVGA made a ACX cooler to buy for previous Titans

;)

I'm not talking about ripping off the original cooler. I've seen the Titan X with the Accelero Xtreme IV btw :).

Check out the ichill hybrid :D
Looks pretty custom to me

For some reason those were taken off OCUK (I think Inno3d isn't licensed to sell Titan Xs in the UK). Those would go under the watercooling category, probably no pressure point with water from Nvidia.

Pretty set on the MSI Titan X, looks like there should be a few kicking about tomorrow. If I miss them there's always Gigabyte from Wednesday..

I can't imagine these selling out fast though? Should be able to grab one surely?
