The GTX Titan X owners thread.

OK. Well happy so far. OC'd to 1216, (cheers Greg), and my Tomb Raider bench is now 2fps below my 780 SLI setup. At stock it was nearly 20fps down. Great card.

There is zero chance that these cards NEED 24gb of system memory to run as a minimum, if someone is telling you that for support then you need to ask to talk to someone who's actually taking their job seriously.

I'm sure you'll find most of the benchmarks and reviews are done on test set-ups with 16gb

Crysis 3 everything set to very high, with Shadows and water down to 'high' from 'very high' gives 60fps goodness @ 1440P.

Crysis OG, everything set to max gives 60fps average with some small drops @ 1440P (Very impressive)

Far Cry 4 @ ultra preset 60fps no drops @ 1440P !

Liking this card, it's loud though !!

Now bring on Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight !!

Never had a card that O/C nice and stable like this, just beaten my CF290X's in Firestrike extreme now as well and I've still not maxed it out yet.

Cards not loud to me comming from CF290X's, that was quite a bit louder.

What are people's memory clocks looking like, gonna try this next.

Without any hyperbole, what's it like at 1440p? Prior to the Titan there isn't a single card that performs at this resolution and provides sufficient fps. In my opinion. Boomstick has posted some impressive figures for Crysis 3. Does it not drop below 60fps with explosions etc and with modest aa enabled?

Yeah it copes at 60fps if you set everything to 'Very high' and then put Shadows and Water on 'High'

It's a very impressive card. It's really very loud though. Amazed it didn't get criticised more for this as AMD got annihilated for it lol. Maybe it's just cos I came from a 960 that is silent and before that was using water cooled 980..

I can live with the noise for now. Let's hurry up and get a die shrink though. Would like Titan X performance on 16nm/14nm plz..

Just whacked the clocks straight up and this was the result, will probably go quite a bit higher :D

And Greg, this thing is silent compared to crossfire 290x's :p

Good to hear the single card tech is just starting to catch up with the higher resolution displays then. 2 years from now let's hope for single cards pulling 60fps mins at 4k.

I wonder if it has the cut down titan cooler, the one without the vapour chamber.

I don't think so, with a 1:1 fan profile, temps haven't gone over 74c and whilst that is quite noisy, it is cooling a huge chip, so very impressive in truth. That is with a 1409Mhz core clock as well and after 6 runs of Heaven.
