taking a Quest on holiday
sounds good though (big spaces i mean) that will be fun

Well my wife and I aren't drinkers, and not really into nightlife, so we tend to relax in the evenings.
I took the original Quest to a caravan park once and played it a lot on a grassy area when the sun was below the treeline, with a lot of space to move around. Will be interesting to see if the quest 2 can do the same. I've read that it's not as good outside as the older Quest.
In any case it'll be going along as a media player for watching movies in the evenings when my wife is watching TV.

Will probably not be able to play tonight. I botched an SSD boot drive upgrade for my PC and now it won't boot - UEFI boot partition issue. My Quest 2 left conroller has gone off for replacement so I can't use the Quest 2 properly.

Fingers crossed I can sort it out, but it doesn't look hopeful and may require a re-install of Windows. :(

Should be an easy enough fix. Start windows install from a USB key. Before you get to the install, choose the repair your computer option. Then go to troubleshoot then into advanced options, into command prompt and type Bootrec /RebuildBcd (Bootrec /Fixboot might work for you either. Depends on the error you are getting)

Well in my defense, I did create a recovery USB drive before hand, and it was a new NVME drive that's massively faster than my old one.

It all worked until I rebooted and it couldn't find the boot partition. For some reason it mixed up all the drive letters, so the boot drive wasn't even C:, despite it being set up properly in windows before the reboot.

Sorted that out but it still won't boot so I have to fix the UEFI partition.

Never used to be this much of a pain to swap boot drives!

I've got an hour or so before the game so I might be able to fix it.

I could always use my Quest 1 which works fine for golf.

I'd love to play Demeo at some point.

Mine's a Crucial drive. Not the fastest on the market, but it's at least double the speed of my Gigabyte GEN3 drive. The old drive is now an additional games drive. I've got a largish partition on the new drive for games, which I'm reserving for those games which really need the extra speed - probably games designed for the next-gen console drives.

Well done Mel! Can't believe I fluked another hole in one on the same hole :D.

Since we've got Joeboi with us next week, perhaps we should try and schedule another date/time for Demeo?

Thanks Guys :)

That was an amazing coincidence on that hole Raggs!! Some shot :D

Another good game last night. The new course is lots of fun, lots of laugh out loud moments. They put a lot more thought into this one. So many holes on the new course have multiple ways of playing them. There are shortcuts on nearly every hole in hard mode. It really adds to the game trying to work out the angles, or just fluke the shot by hitting off rocks while going the wrong way :)

I hope Ravenger's Index survived :p

It was a great game! That's actually a pretty good course, and apparently is designed deliberately with trick shot short cuts.

My Index survived, and having undervolted both my GPU and CPU the whole PC is now running much cooler.
