Son had a great birthday at his day centre, they put a Star Wars pyjama party for him. Came home with just enough energy to unwrap his presents before flaking out.

I was happy that I managed to do a quick(ish) switch adaptation on an X-shot Insanity Rage Fire nerf-style gun before wrapping it 5 mins before he got home. Got say a temperature controlled soldering iron is so much easier to use than a 15 year old (or more) basic Maplins one.

We will be picking up the foam darts from all over tomorrow .

Got a few days break booked up in Edinburgh including a couple of meals at The Witchery by the Castle and The Dome. I've eaten in both of those places on a previous trip but it would be rude not to go there again.

Slowly getting my motivation back to work on a website I want to eventually turn into a business. I have to take it slow and steady otherwise I'll burn myself out but having said that I'm happy with the progress.

Just got approved for startup funding for another business I'm doing. Diabetes tech. Can't wait to get started.

Have never really been a runner but just ran a 10km in 43:29 and have lost 14kg (95kg>81kg) since August last year, just wanted to come and brag essentially

Today I was told I'm now a professor of electronic and computer engineering. I think that's a happy post.
