The hardstyle thread!

Luminosity still going ahead but late start today at 6pm. On the beach too so slightly cooler but it was touch and go for them too. Also much much smaller capacity so prob why it didn't get canned too

If there's storm, high winds and torrential rain then I'm not sure having things sticking up in the air like the stage elements is such a good idea..

Qdance have already said they're refunding all tickets, but we've spent a hilarious amount of money on this trip. All-in We're probably around £20-25k split between us.

We've still got the Assen MotoGP to go to on Sunday and a massive amount of booze and stuff to get through so we'll make it.

Yeah, I can imagine tickets aren't the only cost. There should also be some sort of compensation in my opinion.

Hopefully MotoGP takes the edge off a bit for you guys. Horrible situation to be in.

Ach what can you do, life gave us lemons so we cut them up and made cocktails :D

We're still at the accommodation chilling, chatting and drinking, and discussing how epic we're gonna make it next year :cool:

Pessimist :cry:

I get it really, but it does seem like red alerts are freely given now for weather events that would have been considered relatively normal not that long ago. Equally, I would not have liked to have been queuing for water and suncream all day without much shade, it was bad enough at 31 or so.
 
Really sorry to read about this Diddums. As you said though it would be a medical nightmare once everyone was crowded in like that.

Still can't believe we missed it, gutted doesn't quite cover it. Next year is gonna be epic, we've already got a few more folks interested, might hafta hire a coach at this rate :eek:
 
Not so much hardstyle, but the one mix that got me down the hardstyle rabbit hole in 2005. I actually thought this mix (in full) was lost forever but I just noticed someone uploaded it last year. Must have listened to it 100 times, It's a classic!

So many great events from the past that no longer survive :(
