Not bad, not bad.

Think I'll grab it, although I've got Fable II to tackle on Friday and Fallout 3 the week after.......argh. FC2 may have to wait till I've done a chunk of these.

FC2:

All maxed but shadows which are on high, 4x AA, Dx10...
Crap performance

. Quite impressed with the gfx and gameplay so far, sunset is beautiful. Just hope there's something I can do to make it run okay without dropping any details...
Oh, and sorry for the **** image convert to jpg, originals are BMP but paint converts them to almost the lowest quality jpg's...

Other people seem to be getting better performance on similar hardware I think you have something wrong.

Are you sure?
I read most people drop one or 2 things to medium and run the game on high, not ultra/very high ( whatever max) all around...
I run everything Ultra or very high if there's no ultra, except shadows which are on ''regular'' high...

Could it be because of my 2nd screen perhaps ( running dual mons, but this never gives any perf. probs in any other games and 3dmark is up to spec like it should...) ?

None of the Far Cry screens have any HUD elements like health, ammo etc. Is that how it plays or just on the screen shots?

To me, FarCry 2 looks a bit weird... like everything has a matt-effect :S

Hud shows when reloading and also during action I think...

What kind of FPS you getting in Dead Space ?

1920x1200 here gets over 60FPS max settings, nominal is 80-100!

Superb looking and sounding game!

Well I'm running at 1680x1050/max details and I'm getting around 60-100fps; in otherwords, silky smooth. This is on a HD4870 + 2.5ghz Athlon X2 (Skt939).
