I loved GTA3 + Vice city, not so much SA.

GTAIV I've played twice but my pc struggles so cba

Unless you play on a 386, the chances are your trying to run it max on a crap computer.

640mb 8800GTS

high texture
highest render
draw distance half way
detail half way
cars half way and shadows full

20+ FPS, more then playable.

I cant get my texture to go above med, but runs well.

Lex, taking a high alt approach stuck around to long and got shot by the tanks main cannon. You can see the smoke cloud from the vikhr hitting the tank that just shot him out of the sky. They killed each other :P.

GTA4 looks incredible when you resize the shots down :D Game developers should find a way to use higher resolutions than your monitor, and then resize the screen to the size of your monitor - that way no need for AA and it looks awesome :p

That's essentially what AA does afaik, render higher res and downsize em for every frame.
