Just wow at GTA4. To everyone complaining that it looks crap - seriously, look at what the game is actually doing. To my mind this is *THE* single next gen game. Incredible how much is going on, how much detail there is and how much variety there is.
Best game of the year for me by quite some margin, more impressive than crysis technically too.

Cryostasis , 1280x1024 Everything on full... Amazing game , scary too 
Game frame rates sometimes tank to as low as 15fps much further into the game but most of the time its between 45-60+ , probably due to the heavy use of PhysX. The thing i don't like is in some areas there is intense flashing which could give some people seizures , gives me a headache sometimes.

if it chugs on a 260, then it's going to chug on my 4870 as it doesn't do h/w physx..
any game that'll chug on a 4870 at 1280x1024 can just go straight into the bin!

You really need a high end computer for this also a high end nvidia / phsyx capable card!
Its bloody brilliant , far more scary than doom 3 and dead space and amazing graphics. The ai can be a little retarded at times but other than that its really good i think it will be a hit of 2009

I hate to say it, but this game is a hell of a lot more fun when it's running constantly above 60fps. Plus, that godawful stuttering and load pausing is gone, which makes the combat so much more fluid.
