Just ran it in dx9 mode with all high and 2x aa and it runs like a dream.
what res are you using mate, i tried it at the same settings in my pic post with card clocked @630/1500/2000 and got an increase of 10 fpsJust ran it in dx9 mode with all high and 2x aa and it runs like a dream.
this whole crysis thing reminds me of when cod2 came out, at that time i had an athlon 1800xp and 512mb ram with a gforce 4 ti4800se which just about run it, now i play it on this rig and it breezes through it and this is my second setup from the old athlon which is still going strong, crysis surely must be the most demanding game in recent years if the demo is anything to go by.1680/1050 got it running at stock.
Just makes me wanna get down there and play in it

Where in the game did you find that?
Im right in assuming once you get to the freezing boat that its the end of demo...yes??
In the crysis editor you can place one, then you can press ctrl+G to go in and fight it . They dont have much armor, but when they hit you its instadeath.
Something's not right with your setup unless you got AA enabled because I was getting much better results and I have a far inferior cpu than you. I was running Crysis all on high with post processing medium and something else on medium, can't rememeber. Anyway I would recommend that you change the drivers or something - I'm using 169.04mostly on medium, shadows, post processing and shaders were on low at 1680x1050 with no aa, dips to about 20 fps in places but still quite playable, had to resize pics as i only have a basic photobucket account
